Qualifier for ~$6,700 GameOn open

A LAN event in Vilnius, Lithuania has been announced, with a €6,000 prize pool and international qualifiers set to start soon.

The organizers held a CS:GO competition at the last year's GameOn expo as well but announced that their aim for this year is to attract teams from all over Europe, not only talent from Lithuania and the Baltic region.

The four qualifiers will take place on the 10th, 11th, 17th and 18th of September, and will utilize a single-elimination best-of-one bracket. The eight best teams from each qualifier will be placed into four-team groups, with the best two teams from each group qualifying for the online playoffs. The playoffs will consist of a mixture of single and double elimination best-of-three matches.

The top four teams from the qualifying process will have a spot at the LAN and play out the semi-final and grand final matches at the Litexpo building on the 29th and the 30th of October.

The competition will be held as a part of the GameOn Expo

The prize pool for GameOn has been increased in comparison to last year, and will be distributed as follows: 

1. €3,000 (~$3,300) + Razer BlackWidow, DeathAdder Chroma x5
2. €1,500 (~$1,600) + Razer Goliathus, DeathAdder Chroma x5
3. €750 (~$800)
4. €750 (~$800)

The registration for the qualifiers is open and available on the GameOn website. Teams that wish to be a part of the qualifiers must sign-up before September 7th at 20:00 .
